Some thoughts on Ignorance and Understanding.

I find it very interesting that he is focusing on the fact that ignorance is basically the seg-way into learning more and fully comprehending a certain piece of information. I can relate to this piece in the sense that he describes us basically as pupils being taught to answer with a content look of intelligence instead of admitting you do not fully understand. By admitting you cannot grasp the full knowledge of a certain piece of information, you are than enabling yourself to fully understand it and gain the upper advantage when communicating. I like how it describes that sometimes writers often try to write with a more advanced literary style than normally used to. this than inhibits how successfully the information is relayed back to the reader and/or listener. Ignorance is nothing to be ashamed of. What I took out of this piece was that if you do not understand something, do not just succumb to the common mistake of students or anyone for that matter and simply nod your head yes I do understand, but shake your brain no I do not.
